Lynk is a revolutionary dating app that blends dating, business networking, and community engagement into a single all-encompassing social solution. Lynk connects like-minded people around the world through its revolutionary video-sharing platform. Video sharing on your feed can help you meet new people, chat, and widen your social life. People can communicate and connect with anybody they wish.

Problem/Opportunity

Upon its launch as a dating app, Lynk aimed to expand its horizons by introducing additional categories, including business and community. These categories brought new challenges and opportunities. Implementing a seamless swipe video feature was crucial, allowing users to engage in video calls with a swipe gesture. However, the team encountered a critical issue where the swipe video feature caused the other person's video to go blank during video calls. Furthermore, new features also needed to be included for a seamless user experience.

Solution

A multifaceted solution was devised to address the challenges faced by the Lynk team. Our development team revamped the app's UI using Bloc and Agora front-end. The root cause of the video blackout problem was identified and resolved through extensive testing and debugging. The transformation into building business, creating community, and seamless dating platforms was effectively executed by our expert team. Powerful frameworks are used to build one-on-one and group video calls with mute/unmute, swipe, and pause buttons that improve user interaction. Our team used Swift, React Native, and Kotlin to make Lynk cross-platform compatible.
